CEA Accreditation

The English Language Institute at the University of South Florida is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA). The ELI has been accredited by CEA since 2002, and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority concerning the quality of education or training offered by the English language institutions and the programs it accredits.
